Where midnight sun meets the horizon

Taken from the bridge to Ruissalo island on my way back from a late cycling trip. Minor rain made the skies amazing.

Morning at Ruissalo

 

Oh the joy of crisp morning air in the forest! And because it’s Finland, deers and bunnies are running in the fields.

I got out at 4 a.m, cycled about 10km to that small rocky beach, shot the sunrise and came back home. 

On my way there, I managed to find a really awesome trail that was going straight through the forest. Somehow, on the route back, I took a turn that lead me to normal asphalt bike path. Fortunately there were some friendly geese that allowed me to take photos without going after me.
